• Interviews with senior level decision-makers at 60 top US and UK Advertising Agencies regarding their organization’s media spend and breakdown across different advertising channels, revenue trends, anticipated spend, and related challenges and opportunities.
• Interviews with senior level decision-makers at 60 top US and UK Advertisers regarding their organization’s advertising budgets, the breakdown of the budget across different advertising channels, revenue trends, anticipated media spend, and related challenges and opportunities. Across a range of industries including automotive, pharmacy, retail, movies/media, food/beverage, financial services, and telecom/cable/satellite.

BANKING

• Interviews with 75 US banking organizations having in excess of $2B in customer deposits. Senior level contacts (EVP\ SVP\ VP\ Director) knowledgeable about their organization’s policies and procedures concerning online security and fraud initiatives across customer banking channels. Approximately 30% of the interviews completed were done with multiple respondents at the same respondent company simultaneously via conference call.
• Interviews with banking organizations and senior level respondents knowledgeable about their organization’s technologies used for retail and commercial lending.
• Interviews with banking organizations and senior level respondents knowledgeable about their organization’s technologies used for customer centric marketing and customer service across various banking channels.

CONSULTING

• Interviews with 80 high-level executive contacts at selected Fortune 500 companies on their need for IT Security services and related concerns and planning. Interviews were segmented across various industry verticals.
• Interviews with 100 major telecommunications and professional services companies regarding consulting solutions and services along with current methodologies and customer service strategies.
• Interviews with 60 high-level executive contacts at companies considered to be prospective end-users of environmental and sustainability reporting services. Opinions on various service offering configurations along with emerging trends in environmental reporting and sustainability markets were collected.

FINANCIAL SERVICES

• Interviews with 80 buy side investment firms located in the United States and Canada having in excess of $500 million in assets under management regarding technical priorities and planning. Respondents having in-depth knowledge of trade execution, order management, portfolio management, portfolio accounting, and prime brokerage technologies. Sub-quotas by Mutual Fund, Investment Management, Insurance Asset Managers, Pension Funds, and Hedge Fund firms.

• Interviews with high-level executive contacts at CPA firms to determine their views on current and proposed Peer Review procedures and policies.

GOVERNMENT

• Branding analysis for a large F100 client providing outsourcing services to government entities.
• Telephone inquiry into targets to identify and interview those individuals with in-depth knowledge of their firm’s public sector line of business and market information. 

  

HEALTHCARE \ MEDICAL

• Interviewing hospital Pharmacy Directors at 300+ bed US hospitals on process, pricing, supplier, and systems issues. Fifty interviews 60 minutes in length were recorded and transcribed.
• Interviewing hospital Directors of Radiology, Cardiology, and PACS systems on past and future purchase behavior, costs associated with current expenditures, opinions, preferences, organizational strategies, and other systems issues. Interviews were 20 minutes in length
• Interviewing hospital Biomedical and Clinical Informatics Directors on Patient Monitoring Systems issues, current systems in place, costs associated with current expenditures, preferences and future planning. Interviews were 40 minutes in length.

INSURANCE

• Proof of Market Product Feasibility Study – US Insurance Industry. Primary Point conducted interviews with senior management personnel at mid-tier US life insurers to assess the market timeliness of a proposed client product. Representative titles included VP Finance, VP Controller, CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, and other knowledgeable contacts.
• Research into adoption rates for high performance computing solutions designed to enhance existing actuarial modeling applications and financial pricing, risk modeling, scenario or portfolio analysis. 
• Research into technologies and related issues to improve insurance core processes including policy administration, claims, and underwriting.

RETAIL

• Interviews with 120 COO\ EVP\ SVP\ VP\ Director at top retail organizations located in the US, UK, and Canada knowledgeable about their retail organization’s sales channel strategy, planning, and technologies. Tracking study.
• Interviews with 75 senior level respondents in finance, IT security, and IT networking roles at retail organizations with revenues in excess of $250M+ regarding their organization’s payment card security policies and procedures and their compliance with PCI standards.

SOFTWARE \ IT

• Recruitment and interviews with 100 software developers having three or more years experience using APIs to integrate Microsoft Exchange with other applications.
• Interviews with senior level respondents at global hardware and software vendors, telecom providers, consulting and system integrators, outsourcers, infrastructure providers, and SaaS providers. Current market posture and future strategy for implementing alternative delivery models for IT as a service, defined as: the use of nontraditional methods, processes, and technologies to acquire and deliver IT functionality and business services in a flexible and use-based fashion.
• Benchmarking interviews defining capabilities, policies, and procedures with senior level decision-makers at Fortune 500 organizations having responsibility for IT asset and service management. Industry focus: financial services, insurance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and telecom.
• Research into virtualization strategies targeting 100 respondents including CTO, Chief Architect, Head of: Infrastructure Architecture, Server Engineering, IT Planning and Strategy, IT Operations\ Infrastructure. Research emphasis on the use of virtualization to address challenges in the application Test-Dev infrastructure environment. 
• Interviews with banking organizations and senior level respondents knowledgeable about their organization’s technologies used for retail and commercial lending.

TELECOM

• Interviews with VARs/Network equipment resellers who partner with Avaya, Cisco, and Microsoft.  Issues included: partnerships, partnership selection criteria, partnering level, satisfaction with partners, and future use of vendors. Respondents included: VP Managed Services, VP Support Services, Channel Manager, Relationship Manager, VP Channels, President, VP Sales and Marketing, and VP Technical Services.
• Interviews with 100 Heads of IT Infrastructure, Chief Enterprise Architects, Systems Infrastructure, Application Development, Server Engineering, QA, CTO, CIO focused on early adoption and advanced management strategies for the use of virtualization and internal cloud computing.
• Interviews regarding new product testing and validation. Beta test: selling a new or proposed product into a target market to test market feasibility while evolving product features that better address customer needs and concerns.

UTILITY

• Interviews at 100 major utilities (electric, gas, water service retailers) with a minimum of 500,000 customers to gather data regarding cost of customer service provision (billing, information systems, meter reading, call centers, payment processing). Data was required from 3-5 different functional areas within each organization. Target companies were located in North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
• Interviews with 60 senior-level respondents including:  Plant Manager; Director Maintenance; Director Engineering; VP Production; and VP Operations at fossil-based power generation stations using steam turbine and generator services focused on outsourcing, planning, capital expenditure strategy, and environmental planning issues.
